Firm’s Background

TAB Consult is a professional firm registered in Tanzania under the Business Registration and Licensing Authority (BRELA) with registration number 192447. The main objective is to provide assurance, tax, management consultancy services, and internal auditing support to improve the financial management, governance, and operational efficiency of organizations.

The firm is also registered with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors, (NBAA) by the NBAA Act with Certificate of Practice Number PF 221.

TAB Consult was established by individuals who worked with the market-branded Big Four audit firms. All our Partners joined Coopers & Lybrand, the predecessor firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers, after graduating from the University of Dar es Salaam. They started as audit trainees and rose to the firm’s managerial levels.

The Partners and our staff have gained significant experience through involvement in various engagements and can offer external and internal audits, special audits, value-for-money audits, non-audit assurance, public finance management, forensic audit, tax advisory services, tax compliance post privatization monitoring, business and share valuation, accounting, corporate restructuring, recovery and insolvency, and corporate finance. Our involvement in providing these services has given us the in-depth experience required to fulfill contracts to the highest standards.
