Benedict Sudi
Benedict Sudi is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (T) with 15 years post qualification experience in Professional Consulting, Auditing, Financial Management and Accounting. He co-founded TAB Consult with other two partners.
Benedict worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for nine (9) years, two of which in PricewaterhouseCoopers Nairobi. During this time, he rose smoothly from an Audit assistant to an Audit manager, providing professional services to a wide range of sectors in the economy including Mining, Construction, Donor Funds, Financial Services (banking and insurance), Manufacturing and Agricultural Sectors.
He left PwC and joined the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA), a public institution, as the Finance Director where he worked for four (4) years. He re-shaped the finance function and introduced a number of changes to improve the financial management system of the institution. He developed Financial Regulations and Investment Policy that would suit the desired controls. He also introduced and successfully implemented an Integrated Financial Management System, which facilitated better management of funds across the institution.
After successful implementation of various systems and procedures at VETA, Benedict left and joined Ernst & Young where he worked for 2 years as a senior manager. During his services with Ernst & Young he provided professional services to a number of clients in the various sectors of the economy ranging from financial services, mining, energy and oil and Hotels and leisure.

Mining, Construction and Energy
Benedict has served a number of companies in the field of construction, mining and energy. He has the required exposure in the sector that makes him the right candidate to provide assurance and advisory services in the sector. His exposure spans from the time he was a finance director at VETA, where a number of training centers were under construction. These were construction projects worth more than Tanzania Shillings 6 billion, which were in Kigoma, Arusha, Kagera, Songea and Mara. As finance director, he ensured the construction as well as consultancy contracts were being complied with and payments were based on well prepared and scrutinized certificates. He also provided audit services to Konoike Construction Company, and several other mining and oil marketing companies such as Meru Mineral Resources Tanzania Limited, Montero Tanzania Limited (both exploration companies), Resolute Tanzania Limited, Mabangu Limited (mining companies), Engen Petroleum Tanzania Limited and National Oil (T) Limited.
Financial Services Sector
Benedict has served the key players in the financial services sector for a number of years both in Tanzania and Kenya. He understands the industry very well. While at PwC Nairobi and Dar es salaam, he managed the audits of Barclays Bank Kenya Ltd, Diamond Trust Bank (Kenya) Ltd, Kenya Commercial Bank Limited (Due diligence), Barclays Bank Tanzania Ltd, Standard Chartered Bank Tanzania Ltd, Citi Bank Tanzania Ltd, Stanbic Bank Tanzania Limited, National Bank of Commerce (privatisation), EurAfrican Bank (now Boa Bank), Azania Bancorp, Jubilee Insurance, Royal Insurance (now Royal Insurance of East Africa Ltd), AAR Insurance services and AON Insurance Brokers.
Hospitality and leisure Industry
Benedict’s consulting experience in the hospitality and leisure industry ranges from Hunting and Camping companies to Hotel and Tour Operators. He has served companies like the Tanzania Game Trekkers, Ras Kutani Camping Services, Selous Safari Company (under former DT Dobbie), the Kilimanjaro Hotel Kempinski, Zamani Resort Kempinski-Zanzibar and Rencor Zanzibar (la gemma hotel).
